Web-based Clinical Information System
Patients with diabetes often have other chronic illnesses. Thus, in addition to diabetes-related disease management capabilities, providers need access to comprehensive, longitudinal clinical data. The Web-based Clinical Information System (WebCIS) provides integration of data from the HTU, the Case Manager’s notes and other sources. WebCIS provides an integrated display of both project-based diabetes-specific and general clinical data. The WebCIS system and its database are the result of over 15 years of research at Columbia University.
