Steven Shea, M.D., M.S., is Hamilton Southworth Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology (in Medical Informatics) and Chief, Division of General Medicine, Columbia University and Columbia-Presbyterian Center of New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York, NY. He is the principal investigator for the IDEATel project.
Ruth Weinstock, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor of Medicine and Chief, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. She is the Director of the Joslin Diabetes Center, Syracuse, NY, and co-principal investigator for the IDEATel project. She is responsible for the upstate (rural) component of the project.
Justin Starren, M.D., Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Medical Informatics and Radiology at Columbia University. He is co-principal investigator and the Technical Director of the IDEATel project.
Robin Goland, M.D., is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at Columbia University and Director of the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at the Columbia-Presbyterian Center of New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Walter Palmas, M.D., is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Medicine at Columbia University and the Project Director for IDEATel in New York City (urban component).
